This course covers fundamental aspects of the agro-biodiversity in tropical agriculture. It encompasses interaction among organisms and also adaptations of these organisms to support sustainable agriculture.

- Define biodiversity and taxonomy, explain the species concept, and apply the principles of nomenclature and classification.
- Explain the basics of virus, bacteria and fungi and their roles and implications in agriculture
