Basic Introduction to The Unity Game Engine

Programming with Game Engines provides a basic introduction to the concepts involved in game programming using a well-known game engine, Unity. 

Students are introduced to the various utility and functionality available in Unity for constructing and combining basic game components. The syntax and semantics of the basic animation libraries available in Unity’s scripting language (C#) are introduced and explained at length.

A detailed explanation of several games as they are constructed from the ground up are provided, and students will explore constructing their own games as part of the project in this unit.
